Many times I hit NAIA between 2 and 5 am in the morning. Where to stay? This is one of my fav go-to hotel when I'm in a pinch. The reason is that Victoria Court starts the clock when you check in, unlike other hotels that makes you wait till their (2 pm check-in) or unbending rules that would charge you whole stay when you arrive late (5 am for example). Who wants to pay full days' stay for few hours?
Anyways, below is their Deluxe room (24 hrs) including breakfast. So if you check-in at 3 am, you check-out 3 am, 24 hrs later. They also have ST rates, I think P600 for 3 hrs in their deluxe size rooms.
It's next to Baclaran (Day/Night Flea Market). Not far from EDSA bars (few min walk), 10-15 min cab ride to LaCafe/Malate Disco. 5 min cab to MOA. 5-15 min from major bus lines. 15-25 min away from NAIA, so its very convenient spot for me because this is one of my favorite area in Manila for touch and go.
After tax, I paid ~ $47 USD, but prices may vary depending on days of the week. They also have a Victoria Court in Malate, but I like the Cuneta one better as it has nicer rooms.
During the day, it is safe to walk. You can pick up almost anything you need cheaply at the Baclaran market few min walk away. A few fast food restaurants just outside or you can take a quick cab to MOA with the famous Seafood Paluto Restaurants just down Macapagal Avenue in Pasay City
Bed feels comfortable and *clean* - that's the key word, not every ST hotels feels clean. Even some Victoria Courts feels 'icky', especially most Sogos. This branch I have no complaint cause I know you can't expect much in that area.
Wifi is strong, Air-con works. Strong shower. There is a small window (no view). Guards always checks you before you can go out (gives you a key), so I feel quite secure here. Of course girl-friendly (as you can see). Negative - no room safe.
Easy to catch any type of transportation you need. LRT (Baclaran), UV shuttles/vans, buses, cabs. I usually stay here either my first night or last night in Manila because it is a convenient hub.
