@  Budhah : (21 January 2018 - 04:02 PM)

I'm in the the USA, and my Manila niece just MAILED me registered a box of 100 erythromycin Caplets. Two weeks. No problem,

@  samthedog : (21 January 2018 - 02:31 PM)

@  AUSSIEJOE : (21 January 2018 - 10:37 AM)

@Bigggles , can you remember what courier company you used?

@  Biggles : (21 January 2018 - 10:23 AM)

I would use a courier service, I sent my passport to the UK from AC for renewal and had no problems

@  doctor who : (21 January 2018 - 10:06 AM)

teedeeboy, your correct about the tracking ,, saying that , i did get my new visa card after my old one got skimmed, and a package from on line pharmacy , both through Aussie post , both paid registered mail and i had to sign for both to pick up

@  AUSSIEJOE : (21 January 2018 - 09:41 AM)

Thank you Teebeeboy, Any Aussie going from Darwin direct to Manila here on this site, Might be able for her to meet at the airport to get it back to her????

@  teedeeboy : (21 January 2018 - 09:39 AM)

Better to send via the cheapest reliable courier - suggestions are there in the threads

@  teedeeboy : (21 January 2018 - 09:39 AM)

So registered post probably risky - Aussie post cant't track past PI border

@  teedeeboy : (21 January 2018 - 09:38 AM)

AJ - lots of threads saying Philpost is very dodgy, balikbayan boxes get through, all else at high risk of pilferage, vanishing or held ransom for made-up customs fees

@  AUSSIEJOE : (21 January 2018 - 09:37 AM)

Just after some advise, not information on HIV

@  Rockman : (21 January 2018 - 09:37 AM)

Or maybe people could just actually give some helpful advice, thats the purpose of the board..

@  Don Jiggler : (21 January 2018 - 09:35 AM)

@AUSSIEJOE, you need a thick skin on this forum just chill.

@  AUSSIEJOE : (21 January 2018 - 09:33 AM)

Anyone else that got more of an idea than this joker?

@  AUSSIEJOE : (21 January 2018 - 09:33 AM)

Thanks Dr. who for your help, i'm not trying to solve the hiv epidemic nor the presidency of the country, just trying to send an ID back to Manila, you have been a great help

@  doctor who : (21 January 2018 - 09:12 AM)

Sorry AussieJoe didnt mean for you to spit out your Kangaroo on toast, but you only gave a hint of detail ,,only you know her datails or the slightest thing about her,, Maybe her surname is Duterte. if so, send it to me and ill deliver it to her office here in Davao ,,

@  AUSSIEJOE : (21 January 2018 - 08:57 AM)

  • Administrators, show i POST THIS SOMEWHERE ELSE TO GET HELPFUL ADVISE?

@  AUSSIEJOE : (21 January 2018 - 08:50 AM)

Would be interested to hear from any BM’s that have stayed at the Clipper hotel In Makati...

They've got some excellent last minute deals showing on the Agoda site, am giving it serious consideration for my upcoming trip.

If anyone has recently stayed there, would appreciate to hear your thoughts on the hotel....Thanks.

We appreciate your understanding to this truly unfortunately fact. Please click on these Agoda links to help Philippines Addicts get credit where it is due, thanks! Book your Philippines Hotel Here and Now! . We have also added Bookings.com as an affiliate and another choice for you guys to get the best possible deal on booking hotel rooms. Again, this costs you nothing. We ask that you please use the Booking.com links found throughout this site so we can get credit for your hotel booking. It's best to try both websites to get the best possible deal. Please use the links provided on this site, thanks!

If you already booked your rooms and/or you don't use Agoda or Bookings.com we'd appreciate it if you could
for board administration, expenses and improvements if you find this site useful to your needs.

I've stayed there many times. Its a great hotel for about $60. And the best part it's right across the street from Burgos St, and Bottoms. :):) :). Rooms are big, clean and  with good wifi and cell coverage.

Taxi drivers don't always know where it is, so just have them drive down Burgos, and across the street from Bottoms, my favorite bar on Burgos. :):) :). Much better than Red Planet.

And had no problem bringing girls to the rooms.

I've heard contradictory reports on whether it is in fact girlfriendly.
So need reassurance on the situation.
Price & location all goes outta the window if it ain't gf !!

Thanks for this. Probably I prefer checking in at Agoda. And also planning to live somewhere in bonifacio global city residence or something. Anyways, thanks!

Enjoyed my stay at the Clipper, I booked my stay thru' Agoda for 1750 per night.
This was my first time staying in Makati and would return, the dining options are much better in this part of town, I'm usually to be found at the Rothman in Malate but grew frustrated at the limited dining choices.
