Australia has a "tax free threshold" currently around $18,000. Below this you pay no tax and the old age pension and most other welfare payments are below this amount.

What is happening State Wide is the pension programs paying 75% of regular pay, and no income tax, plus 3% raise a year is milking the state dry. Ex wife is drawing $90k a year as a retired HS Phys Teacher..

SIU 30 years ago had 24000 enrollment, but they started to bring south side Chicago residents in and lowered the ACT and SAT required scored,, enrollment almost cut in half.

They are renting out parking spaces for $40, and require 3 days reservation for all the hotels within 50 miles of here.. Just drove thru town about an hour ago, and wall to wall traffic and some great look eye candy walking

I'm thinking of staying in Philippines for a 3-4 months and making Cebu city as my base.

Anyone know of any monthly stay serviced apartments or condotels or condos? Needs to be girl friendly, ideally without the giant walk of shame lobby or require registration of girls even if it's free.

I've been looking at Avida towers (a condo block) in IT park but been told that all guests need to be registered (not sure if this is true or not).

Budget 15-30k a month.

Thanks in advance.

Try "airbnb" as some of the offers can be made long term especially if you work scheduling well in advance.

Thanks, i looked at airbnb. Most of them say something like guests need to be registered. Anyone have experience renting a condo in cebu and bringing girls back to their room?

3 months...just settle in a hotel for a couple of days and walk the condos to see with your own eyes hows the setup of security and acess and most important> does the appartement is in real as it looks on the pictures

For that long period I would not book anything upfront without seeing it.
