My company leave is in April and I always go to Thailand but I wish to leave for few days during the Thai New Year Songkhran festival. So I will be going to Angeles for 5 days for the first time. Any advice? Decent girl friendly hotels? prices? Scenes to avoid. And does anyone know of a BDSM scene in Angeles? Something like the Castle in Pattaya. The Philippines girly scene seems a bit vanilla for my taste. Any advice would be welcome. Thanks in advance.

How's it going brownlegs. I think you will have a lot of fun on your side trip to the Philippines. My suggestion is to go straight up to Angeles. Angeles is much more clear cut to the monger and the bars are all in one area. You can either get a flight from BKK to CRK (Clark) or MNL (Manila). Once you get familiar with Filipinos and their culture then check out Metro Manila on the second or third trip.

My favorite hotels are Central Park (http://www.centralpark-ac.com/) and Swiss Chalet (http://www.swisschal...om/en/index.htm) and they are both girl friendly.

Angeles is "vanilla" compared to some stuff they have in Pattaya. There are no BDSM clubs or anything too wild.

Then going to AC on the 22nd. Guess I screwed my plans and should have
gone to AC first on the 18th.

I have been to Songkran a couple of times. It would be ok if I didn't
have to sneek around after 9p/m trying not to get hit. Just takes the fun
out of it.
