I have to book accomadation soon for next trip to PI thru work and If they knew what i was up to I'd be fired straight away.
Last trip was only to Ac ony and was was thinking about 3 days in subic this time.
My ? is , is subic a bit like feilds or perimeter or a cross between the two.
I loved both areas last trip so trying to get vibe for the place. I have to commit to accomadation in either place soon so any
help or personel feelings about the 2 would be a great help.
If it is sort of in between then I.ll extend my time there.
Chhers and thanks

Except you don't have that many vendors compared to Angeles City - and they are on the beach hawking cheap necklaces and junk, not in your face with Viagra/Cialis - in fact I don't think I've seen one vender selling Viagra in Subic. Traffic is not bad at all compared with either AC or Manila and there are panhandlers but again, nowhere near the level of AC.

Mainly a much lower proportion of Asians . Like a much lower percentage of Koreans than in Angeles especially.
Another is Cheap Charlies bar - if it is still in existence that is ?
Disadvantage too many ladies drink hustlers but then again i am not that familiar with how many of those types in Angeles either.
Another disadvantage - hardly no freelancers to speak of ( or worth looking at anyway) then again Angeles is quite lacking in that also.

I
Cool Thanks
A couple of thousand should be enough for 3 days, I,d be pissed off with only 1500.
maybe 5 days then and do a couple of them twice,
Cheers
I think that's a typo. There are 33 bars that have girls. Each has between 6 and 40. Let's be on the liberal side and say 20/bar. That would be 460 if everyone showed. I'd guess it's more like 300. More than enough for a visit - of any length of time.

Maybe so. But for many punters, a lot of these Barretto girls are not at all attractive to the eye unless viewed through beer goggles.

It's a bit underwhelming imo. But fun nevertheless. How advisable is it to go hot local bars. Heard of some local place called Salome about 5 mins from Barreto.
How do these places work ?
Foreigners are welcome in most local bars. The closest I know if is Curacha (?spelling). It's about 1.5km North of Barretto. They have full nude dancers (about 20 minutes to get their gear off). I'd suspect there are similar places in Subic Town. Get ready for sticker shock.
I've never heard of Salome. Perhaps someone can fill us in.

The slow rainy off season is here soon , so as mentioned last year by business people its not good time for the trade in this mongers town , might be a good time to visit though I wonder, more choices and some good deals .perhaps .
