If you are heading to AC bring an umbrella, lots of rain. Got an empty block opposite us and so much water I am waiting for the ducks to arrive!

@  statusquo : (17 July 2018 - 03:14 AM)

Appetites and lifestyles are diverse, Bangkok can be cheaper than Pattaya if you know the scene. Even for local Thais, anything in a tourist area like Pattaya, Phuket, Chiang Mai and others is more expensive.

@  Biggles : (17 July 2018 - 03:06 AM)

Your money will most likely go further in Pattaya, hotels and p4p is not as expensive as BKK.

Seems to be difficult to find an urban destination in SEA with a good air quality

@  richie155 : (12 July 2018 - 04:29 PM)

I red there might be smog sometimes during winter months because of some farmers burning crap

@  Mr.V : (11 July 2018 - 10:08 PM)

I vote for Bangkok befor Pattaya...I filling that the last 90’s girls are more maganda then those you find in Ac and Pattaya

@  Evilfriar : (11 July 2018 - 08:32 PM)

Fine Italian dining and romantic ambiance in the heart of Angeles City. The food here is a win situation every single time. Freshly baked breads, pizza and pasta, this scratch Italian kitchen offers excellent Italian menu complemented by a diverse selection of wines.  I've never had a bad meal at this establishment, but be prepared to pay for the enjoyment. Suitable for quiet intimate interludes and even business luncheons/dinner.

I used to go to c italian all the time a few years ago but since chef chris left they took off a lot of good things I liked on the menu. The last couple times I went there they didn't have a lot of things on the menu and in fact currently it's burned down and set to reopen on June 1 at least that is what the sign said. During my last visit with a friend the air con didn't work properly so the room was steaming and they brought us a bottle of wine without any glasses and didn't even uncork it I normally don't slag places off but I hope the new owners do something about that I heard a prominent Filipino family bought it.

I have never eaten here but I imagine from what I have read that the food is pretty good. I have in my mind that it is even more over priced then the rest of the western food places in town. Thats why I have thus far given this plass a pass.

C' Italian has had the same owner since it's opening. Chef Chris was just that. The chef, not an owner.

The food here is excellent, if a bit pricey.  I usually eat there once or twice on every trip I make to AC.  I do think it was a bit better before the expansion about 4-5 years ago.

There used to be a bar right next door that I met my first 'cherry girl'.

All in all, I highly recommend this restaurant for a consistently great meal.

Actually, it may be closed in it's old location, but it re-opened in two new locations.  I think the one in Manila might be just as good as the original though I have my doubts about the one that opened at Clark.   Too bad, the original burned down.  They made some fantastic food over the years.  Nice looking restaurant too inside.
