Because human-rights groups have agenda's it's that simple, and they don't get any mileage from the Marawi incident.

@  BGC Dude : (25 May 2017 - 01:13 AM)

wheres tge international outrage over that?

@  BGC Dude : (25 May 2017 - 01:12 AM)

Where are the human-rights experts when innocent people are being slaughtered by extremist groups? Was the police chief that was beheaded denied his human rights by the Mautes? Where's the internationals

@  Budhah : (25 May 2017 - 12:34 AM)

@  Budhah : (24 May 2017 - 07:51 PM)

Just announced on Fox news that the Martial law may go nation wide, because of Isis killing in the South. Fear of it spreading to rest of the PI.

@  doctor who : (24 May 2017 - 06:36 AM)

Martial Law, stopped me in my tracks last night,, travelling between Mati, and Davao , at 9pm stopped at a road side Army inspection setup, everybody off the bus, walk through the inspection area then back on the bus, only to get stuck behind a military convoy,,

@  willie50 : (24 May 2017 - 05:41 AM)

martial law has not affected san Francisco and prosperidad on Mindanao at this moment. usually a lot of soldiers n check points

@  Pukpuk : (23 May 2017 - 11:58 PM)

@FurryFriend Start a topic and stop crowding the Shoutbox if you are going to go on about it.

@  Pukpuk : (23 May 2017 - 11:57 PM)

@FurryFriend So you have experienced Martial law have you? Well I have and I tell you it is slightly inconvenient but not to the stage you wouldn't go there. FFS you love a troll or two don't you.

@  FurryFriend : (23 May 2017 - 11:48 PM)

http://www.rappler.com/nation/170754-davao-city-lockdown-marawi-attack Davao City mayor "urged visitors to cancel their trips to Davao unless [its] very important...[and] said that if they don't want to be thoroughly inspected in multiple checkpoints, they should not come..." That doesn't sound like a rocking fun place for a week-long mongering trip.

@  FurryFriend : (23 May 2017 - 11:20 PM)

Martial law means so much more than a curfew. It's about having mobility restricted, roads closed, stores closed, flights cancelled, and possible loss of conveniences like cellphone, ATM or internet services. These are all hinderences to mongering. If there was martial law in Pampanga, you can bet AC bars will all be closed. Furthermore, martial law grants the military ability to perform civilian law enforcement. It will not be a fun moment in the Philippines when soldiers with very powerful weapons stops you, asks you questions, then demands to frisk you.

Some of the absolute best BBQ and Cajun to be found outside the USA. I've been eating here for many years and never had a complaint. Personal favorites include the BBQ combination plate, chicken and dumplings, chicken fried steak and fried okra. Meals offer complementary warm sourdough bread served with herb butter Pattaya. Quaint New Orleans cafe style decor replete with well maintained fish tank, full bar and music to soothe the soul. Highly recommended!

Remake with the same good food. Menu shortened a bit but the combination plate is still as great as ever!

Got this in my inbox yesterday... I hate buffets, they make me eat more than I would normally. Guess i'll have to do a extra 2 minutes on the elliptical for the next two weeks to even it up..

I ate there today with another young lady and while it was OK I wasn't blown away by the food nor the price. Maybe I was spoiled with Rudy's less than a mile from my old home in San Antonio but this place just doesn't compare. I ordered the combo plate and my date had the 1/4 BBQ chicken, along with 2 drinks the bill same out to 1000 pesos which isn't terrible, but considering I left Amore Mio last night and had to be rolled home for 300+ pesos less and I thought the food was better.

The complimentary bread was good. The chicken was cooked properly and was very moist. The ribs and pork slabs on the combo plate were good, but I wasn't a big fan of the BBQ sauce as I prefer more of a dry rub with the sauce added sparingly at the end vice bveigh lathered on the meat. The baked beans were a little too sweet for my taste and the girl didn't like them one bit, but I don't put toomuch stock in a Filipina's opinion regarding food.

I think the issue for me is that I prefer a Texas or KC style BBQ vice the generic so was underwhelmed. I don,'t think you'll find better in Angeles unless you do your own.

I liked the food here. They have some very good BBQ. I haven't been there since the owner passed. But I will make it my first stop next trip.
