Because human-rights groups have agenda's it's that simple, and they don't get any mileage from the Marawi incident.

@  BGC Dude : (25 May 2017 - 01:13 AM)

wheres tge international outrage over that?

@  BGC Dude : (25 May 2017 - 01:12 AM)

Where are the human-rights experts when innocent people are being slaughtered by extremist groups? Was the police chief that was beheaded denied his human rights by the Mautes? Where's the internationals

@  Budhah : (25 May 2017 - 12:34 AM)

@  Budhah : (24 May 2017 - 07:51 PM)

Just announced on Fox news that the Martial law may go nation wide, because of Isis killing in the South. Fear of it spreading to rest of the PI.

@  doctor who : (24 May 2017 - 06:36 AM)

Martial Law, stopped me in my tracks last night,, travelling between Mati, and Davao , at 9pm stopped at a road side Army inspection setup, everybody off the bus, walk through the inspection area then back on the bus, only to get stuck behind a military convoy,,

@  willie50 : (24 May 2017 - 05:41 AM)

martial law has not affected san Francisco and prosperidad on Mindanao at this moment. usually a lot of soldiers n check points

@  Pukpuk : (23 May 2017 - 11:58 PM)

@FurryFriend Start a topic and stop crowding the Shoutbox if you are going to go on about it.

@  Pukpuk : (23 May 2017 - 11:57 PM)

@FurryFriend So you have experienced Martial law have you? Well I have and I tell you it is slightly inconvenient but not to the stage you wouldn't go there. FFS you love a troll or two don't you.

@  FurryFriend : (23 May 2017 - 11:48 PM)

http://www.rappler.com/nation/170754-davao-city-lockdown-marawi-attack Davao City mayor "urged visitors to cancel their trips to Davao unless [its] very important...[and] said that if they don't want to be thoroughly inspected in multiple checkpoints, they should not come..." That doesn't sound like a rocking fun place for a week-long mongering trip.

@  FurryFriend : (23 May 2017 - 11:20 PM)

Martial law means so much more than a curfew. It's about having mobility restricted, roads closed, stores closed, flights cancelled, and possible loss of conveniences like cellphone, ATM or internet services. These are all hinderences to mongering. If there was martial law in Pampanga, you can bet AC bars will all be closed. Furthermore, martial law grants the military ability to perform civilian law enforcement. It will not be a fun moment in the Philippines when soldiers with very powerful weapons stops you, asks you questions, then demands to frisk you.

Speaking of lines, I walked past the only Jollibee in Singapore located in Lucky Plaza at 2pm one time. There were at least 50 people in line and the dining room was completely full of actual diners and it wasn't even Saturday.
If you have the money to open a Jollibee in Singapore guaranteed you will make many pesos.

Army Navy food? Cripes! I tried once at Terminal 3 and it was so friggin' horrible, I had to throw it in the trash! I like Taco Bell, but Army-Navy was worse than 7-11 Mexican food...

Yeah, I wasn't impressed with the place either.  Then again, I used to live on the Texas-Mexico border, in a city that was 85% Latino.   Not to mention I had a Mexican wife at one time.

They have a version of Philly cheese steak that is edible. Their tortilla soup is freakin horrendous though.
