Over the years, I have heard a lot of stories about guys getting or trying to get bargirls out of the bar scene both in Thailand and the Philippines. The one main constant that really sticks out is the simple fact, the more money you give them, the less she will want to move forward in her own life in terms of education or starting a business. In other words, they just get plain lazy. A lot of guys will fall head over heels with a girl without knowing her but you really have to peel away the superficiality and find the core ambition, attitude and drive, then you might know if it's worth it. This takes time and effort.

One key point is this, the girl in question has got to want to make the decision herself. Some of you guys might be thinking "You can't take the bar out of the bargirl" but guess what, I know literally hundreds of guys who are living happy successful lives with ex bargirls for years with farms and all types of businesses. On the other side of that coin, I know a lot that have gone terribly wrong and that leads back to not properly peeling away the layers.

I know a lot of people send money to girls thinking its helping them when it fact you are only feeding the fire. Most of them are back working in the bar or freelancing whether you want to believe it or not. Use your big heads guys, not the little one.

Cheers!

I would never say 'impossible' with taming a bargirl. Instead, I'd ask why bother?

You can choose to give your heart to a naughty girl, or you can take a more calculated risk and give it to a woman who hasn't chosen to become a public cum recepticle as a career. Having chosen both options before, I know which option provides greater value with a lower risk profile. Leave the naughty girls to whoring.

Good post Chris.

I took my ex out the bar in Thailand and she never looked back. She hated the bar scene which makes it easier.

If the girl likes that lifestyle and she has access to the bar scene then its doomed from the start.

@Hedonist: My sentiments exactly especially due to the availability of so many sweet educated non-naughty girls, why seek out the minority namely the commercial sex workers because you can meet them and fuck them so easy.
Invest a little more effort and get a quality decent pinay.

There is a girl who I have gone to see every time I go to Angeles. Outside of bar fining her, I never have given her one peso and she's also never asked. Most of the time she would come over after work, though I made it a point to pay the bar fine at least once each trip. Yes, I'd give her a tip the next morning. She also gave me the best GFE so far there, I really like this girl. When I say "like", I don't mean that she's relationship material. Well, she would be except for one thing - she's a bar girl and I can't be in a relationship with a prostitute, end of story. Nevertheless, I click with this girl for some reason. So over the last year or so, I've encouraged her to get out of it whenever she would complain about it. She left once then came back about a month later, it was disappointing. I realize that in order for someone to change, be it from quitting smoking, losing weight, or even quitting the bar, they have to really want the change, no amount of cajoling, paying, etc, will make someone do something they really don't want to do. So while I always encouraged her, I never outright told her to leave the bar, etc. I am sure this girl has real feelings for me but the last time I was there I just told her out - "it's impossible for me to have a relationship with a bar girl." I didn't tell her to get out of it, I just told her frankly how I feel about that. I think that kind of shocked her because a lot of guys will chase after these girls yet I was rejecting her from any possible relationship.

Then a few months ago I was chatting with her and she said she was ready to leave Angeles for good. Well, I kind of doubted that - that's what she said before. So I asked her why, and she said point blank, "because I am a prostitute! I don't want to be a prostitute!" That kind of impressed me for some reason.

So soon after, she actually left the bar and went to live with her sister in Manila and all was quiet for awhile. Then a few weeks ago I get a message from her - her 57 year old mother has had a heart attack and she needs money to go back to the province. So I think to myself, how many 57 year old women have heart attacks? Well, she finally decided to hit me up for money it seemed! I had always wondered when it would happen, and I was sure this was it! Except she didn't directly ask me for money, only said she was needing money to get back. But I know how this works - it's a story to get you to offer it to them, so I didn't. Then about a week later she contacts me from the province, supposedly from the hospital. She says her family must raise 300,000 pesos for the operation for her mother. Again, she didn't ask me directly for money it but I was SURE this had to be bullshit, I neither offered or sent her any.

All goes quiet for about 2 weeks, then she contacts me on Yahoo messenger. I asked her how she was doing, she said, "Not good! My mother died!" Hmmm...I assumed all along this was just some bullshit story but now I was starting to question it. Would she actually go "that" far? I kind of doubted it because this girl was a miserable liar. Then a few hours later she posts photos on her Facebook of the casket, the cemetery, the whole family gathered around the casket. Yes, I can see her in from of her mother's casket, the who family is there. No, this was no lie - this girl was telling me the truth the whole time about that situation! Her mother really, actually died of a heart attack, I have seen the photos of the whole funeral with my own eyes.

I still haven't sent her any money, she still hasn't asked me for any. She says she isn't coming back to Angeles. With those expenses, I'm not sure if that's the case or not.

Moral of the story, if there is one, is this I guess: There is always an exception to the rule. We build up defense mechanisms (dismiss all BG's as naughty girls , etc) to prevent ourselves from getting hurt, and 9 times out of 10 that is a good thing, usually that is correct. However, I feel it's important to remember that some of these girls are VERY nice people. Maybe not most, maybe only a few, but still....some of them are.

IMHO, Most bar girls are in denial about what they do for a living do to their strict Catholic upbringing.
Most pinay never directly ask for money but do so indirectly, so there is no doubt she was asking you for money.
It goes to show you what she save for selling her ass: ZERO.
Leave the bar girls in the bar, though I know they are a good cheap fuck.

There is no way they where looking at a 300k bill unless you have money they should have went to a city run hospital. Often girls twist the truth so that in this case her mom was sick , but the hospital could do nothing, the girl use it to try get money from you. It is A typical scam the girl never asks for money until a big emergency, they will make it up if they have to.

I see it this way she found a few sponsors doing what she did for you and other guys while working in the bar, she told the same story to many guys and they paid up each time, she is doing ok living with her local boyfriend, she has many options and family to help her. move on and find a girl who has less guys and less problems.

Why get a girl out of the bar scene? It would make more sense to me to get a bar mongerer out of mongering. I want more supply and less demand whence more choices and lower prices.

I like your story, Aud8us. As you said, you dont need to move on, you never gave her money, nor was she a GF. In a poor country millions of sad stories, this just another one. No, I'm not hooked. Bender, you are entitled to think what you want but the fact is, the mother dying thing was not bullshit. The only reason I brought this up in the first place was because I was shocked it turned out to be true. I've got photos of the whole freaking funeral, from where she is weeping behind her mother's casket to where they are sticking it in the ground. She didn't send them to me to get sympathy, she put them on her Facebook. I'm tempted to post the link but then again, why should I do that to satisfy one guy who can't wrap his head around the possibility of a naughty girl telling the truth once in awhile?

Perhaps she would have liked me to contribute money but the fact is, she never asked for any, I never offered, and her 57 year old mother did indeed die from a heart attack. These things actually DO happen now and then.

I guess what Bender was trying to get across, was that even though her mother was in fact gravely ill, she took advantage of this unfortunate situation and your goodwill, and asked for money.

She did not lie that her mother was ill, and they probably needed some cash like any family in this position. The fact is, asking for an exorbitant sum of 300K sounds like she was taking advantage of you.

thanks that was my point 300k is huge money for a free hospital.

the other point was he thinks the prostitute was a good girl just unlucky like all the others I know. I bet she is still in the game and has many suckers thinking she is different to other prostitutes

Back to the OP

The perpetual question by many mongers I guess. Just some thoughts

I think it's possible to get the girl out of the bar. The earlier the better. There is a window of 5 to 6 weeks before the art of manipulating men is too deeply ingrained in the brain.

Also one have to take a look at the amount of money she is bringing home to family. You have to match this amount for some time to come. The problem will be to get a truthful figure. If you don't think it's necessary to do this and she still sticks by you, it could mean that family has swithed to plan B aka "the long game"

Also concider her lack of education. Are you bringing her back to live in your country? It can be hell for her to be confronted with your friends and their spouses.

Personally, I would take the chance if the right woman came along, but I'm too jaded to expext it to work out.

Peace

I think the Filipina would be the best choice for conversion from the bar girl scene.
Consider this:
1. The bars pay the door girl extra because the average Filipina doesn't want people knowing she works in a bar.
2. Most are really reluctant to have their picture taken and have a huge fear of getting posted on youtube.
3. A lot of those scamming bar girls are sending money home to take care of her 14 brothers and sisters.
4. Unless they are really jaded their dream is marrying the rich guy and having lots of kids.

Compare that to the prostitutes in the US who are banging for drugs.

The real question is why bother.
If the country was 90% naughty girls I can see trying to rehabilitate one or two.
But the Philippines is a conservative strongly religious country where 99% of pinay are decent.
Hence I ask why bother.

A lot of good points here. The market in the Philippines is very much skewed in favor of the western man. But for that good girls would be asking themselves, why should I bother with this naughty girlmonger?

I met a bargirl in Cebu a few years ago who told me, with no trace of irony, that she had seriously considered becoming a nun but decided to work in a bar because her family needed the money. I believed (and still believe) that she was telling the truth. I told her that she made the right choice because her body and attitude were specifically designed to have a good time and there's no way God could have wanted her to be a nun. She was awesome. I went back to her bar a couple years later and she had gone back to her province. I hope she's doing well.

I know two friends who married bargirls. Now fast forward a few years and now the girls they married are totally lazy, fat and not motivated at all to do anything in life or even try look good for that matter. I think they regreted doing it LOL. Also now they just look like just your anyday below average girl after they're in normal clothes.

So make sure you do pick the right girl before you even try "take the bar out of the bargirl".

Personally I wouldn't wife a bargirl.
