Avis is much cheaper if you book online, or there's another place about 5 shops up from Avis

@  pitstop : (24 March 2017 - 10:12 AM)

motor vehicle rental

@  Gillette : (24 March 2017 - 05:07 AM)

It's already better then it has been the last couple of weeks.

@  Gillette : (24 March 2017 - 05:06 AM)

I understand.

@  Pukpuk : (24 March 2017 - 05:04 AM)

@Gillette A bit of work is being done but progress will be slow.

@  Gillette : (24 March 2017 - 04:58 AM)

Nice to see the site has stabilized a bit.

@  kantutero : (23 March 2017 - 11:16 PM)

BR: 100 is a deal; check car carefully; I had the engine catch fire on the NLX near Tarlac when I went for the ceapest car. I usulaly paid 1400 for anewer model Vios

@  br28016 : (23 March 2017 - 10:30 PM)

Try diamond car rental in sm mall.999 person per day for cheapest car

@  kantutero : (23 March 2017 - 10:23 PM)

If a longer rental might be worth it to take bus to Ermita and get it there

@  kantutero : (23 March 2017 - 10:22 PM)

Board: Prices are higher in AC than Ermita where most rental car places are located. The One I recall having best rates was over on Mac Highway near where the traffic circle is before you enter Astro Park.

@  Board00 : (23 March 2017 - 08:19 PM)

anyone know a good rental Car stadion. Avis so expensive for 2 Days

@  azncraz : (23 March 2017 - 07:42 PM)

anyone wouldn't happen to know where i can find these nude photos of the military women scandal posted on facebook?

@  azncraz : (23 March 2017 - 06:41 PM)

wow what do you know USA finally wins a WBC baseball classic haha

@  azncraz : (23 March 2017 - 03:43 PM)

@ captain not going from Terminal, i'll be staying at garden city hotel makati for few days then heading over to central park hotel and walking fields hotel

@  azncraz : (23 March 2017 - 03:43 PM)

@Matanboy ur logic makes sense i havent' said i'll be taking the hotel route over victory line but was blown away by the price difference

@  Captain Save... : (23 March 2017 - 03:32 PM)

I always use margarita station for airport to AC. Fuck the bus with luggage, if the terminal was AT the airport then no problem, but you gotta fight with a cab just to get to the bus terminal.

@  Mactanboy : (23 March 2017 - 01:45 PM)

Your choice AZNCRAZ on Victory Liner vs. hotel pickup. IMHO you are trading time for money!

@  azncraz : (23 March 2017 - 01:13 PM)

wow it's quite expensive for hotel transportation from manila to Angeles vs taking victory line lol

@  warprofiteer : (23 March 2017 - 06:50 AM)

This is starting to suck... now some of the links to individual forums also not working. Trying to click on Trip Reports, but no dice. Hope they fix this site soon.

I want to vacation with my Filipina GF in New Zealand, and Australia. How feasible is it for a Filipina with no job or money to get a tourist visa to New Zealand and/or Australia?

First place I would start would be to do research on your visa laws/requirements..

Under those circumstances, slim to no chance, gathered from what many BM have posted here on this issue.
You will have two problems: 1-getting New Zealand and/or Australia to issue her a tourist visa and the pinay getting though Philippine immigration to allow her to leave and that there is no human trafficking involved.
If she can show a round trip ticket, hotel and money in the bank all increases her chances.

I was hoping to do something similar with a 35 yo girl also ... Bring her to Aust for 2 - 3 months and see how we get on once I am back in the real world of work, stress and daily life and not in the holiday mode of my last 2 trips to PI.

Only prob is, she has no job and it seems this can be a drama with customs with her having no reason for her to return home. I guess, once you have a visa it should be all systems go or is there a chance customs in PI can still stop her from leaving?

She has worked abroad twice before, but not employed the last 2-3 years ... not sure if that would make a difference or not for making it easy for a "release".

Anyone elses experiences be good to see here ....

You can do it but there is a shit load of hoops the Australian govt will make u jump through. I did it with a Thai girl who wasn't a bar naughty girl....worked a good job for 4yrs at DHL and FedEx so she had a job to go back to and bank statements ect...but as for getting some 2bit bar naughty girl into Australia.....u have got a big job ahead of u. U would really have to love this chick if u wanna go through all he headaches
IMHO leave ur monkey in its zoo, and just come and visit it every now and then. Or holiday with it in asia

Thanks for your opinion, Would you be able to give some examples of those "shit load of hoops" the AU Gov made you jump through?

I can't talk for everyone on this site, but I guess some of the guys here know some genuine girls aswell as 2 bit bar sluts!

How is your non-bar naughty girl, working Thia girl going? Still enjoying AU, have a good holiday, back home now, enjoy our lifestyle, socialise well with your freinds, etc?

It's very difficult. They want proof that you have a relationship with the girl. You can show this with photos of holidays together, photos with her family , phone records etc.

Go to the Aussie embassy and they will tell you exactly what you need

Hi bassailor here's some info for NZ and link is http://www.immigrati...ors/default.htm

Visitors to New Zealand
You will need to apply for a visitor visa before you come to New Zealand if you are not from a visa-waiver country,
Requirements
When you apply for a visitor visa, we need to know that:
you are in good health
you are of good character, and
a visitor visa fits your purpose for coming to New Zealand.
Your passport
You will need to provide your passport with your application. The passport must be valid for at least three months past the date you are to leave New Zealand,  or one month past the date you intend to leave if the government issuing your passport has consular representation in New Zealand.
Proof that you plan to leave New Zealand
You will need to show us that you intend to leave within the period of your visa. For example:
travel tickets (confirmed or open-dated) out of New Zealand to a country which you have the right to enter; or
written confirmation from an airline or travel agency that onward travel has been booked and paid for; or
evidence of sufficient funds to purchase a ticket to a country which you have the right of entry.
Any non-refundable travel arrangements are made at your own risk as the outcome of your application cannot be guaranteed.
Proof of funds
You will also need to show us proof that you have enough money to support yourself during your stay. This means you have a minimum of:
NZ$1000 per person per month of the visit, or
NZ$400 per person per month if accommodation has already been paid for – we will require proof of prepayment, such as hotel prepaid vouchers.
Sufficient funds can be in the form of:
cash
travellers' cheques
bank drafts
recognised credit cards with sufficient credit available – we recommend that visitors have an up-to-date credit card statement.
We will also accept a declaration by an acceptable sponsor that they will pay for your accommodation and maintenance. See the Sponsorship for Temporary Entry (INZ 1025) PDF [237KB].

Start with this link for Australia then read up in the topics on here.

http://www.immi.gov.au/visawizard/

It is hard to get a tourist visa and I did many years ago for my sister in law who came from PI for 3 months but you had to supply income details, asset details, her funds, what was her purpose, where would she be going etc etc.

I dont see anywhere in his post that she is a bargirl. But he does say she is his Filipina GF. I think you are being a tad disrespectful and rude. What is it with some guys assuming shit??

I got my GF here (NZ) on a Tourist visa. She filled in the Visitors permit under parnership. I had to fill in a sponsorship form. She had to submit proof that we were a couple. e.g Photos together, letters etc. She had to get heaps of medical checks and X rays. When all that was submitted, she had to be interviewed. After about a month she was approved. Hope this is helpful. Cheers

Didn't mean to offend about the bar girl gf, whether she is or isn't. But the govt will make it extra hrd for u if she is, otherwise every monger would be bringing them back and no one back home would be fuckin the fat single mums at the over 28's discos on a Friday nite once they are well and truly pissed with serious beer goggles on.
On another note my mrs is doing fine. She 1st came to Australia in the middle of winter ( Melbourne) so it was a shock to her. But I thought I may as well throw her in the deep end and not sugar coat it. She got by ok, but remember she has been dealing with Falangs for along time at her office with many of the sending important business documents....not like a bar girl who would be dealing with drunken horney 2week millionaires. So she was easily able to fit in around my friends and their wife's or gf's. Thai girls are like Aussie girls in the way that no normal Aussie chick would want to hang out with a prostitute, and a good Thai girl doesn't want to hang out with one either....birds of feather flock together.
She made several good friends on her first visit and stayed in touch with these girls via Internet ect. We married in australia on her 2nd visit and she did all the paperwork for the fiancé visa....even harder than the holiday visa. She no has been granted permanent residency and is only a year away from gaining Australian citerzenship.
All I can say is take a shit load of pics, keep every document u can....phone bills, plane tickets, emails.....anything and everything that makes it look like u have a legit ongoing relationship.....no pics of the pair of u pissed in a disco or ago go. Do the tourist pics, visit mum and dad in the village. And look up as much stuff as u can on the net.
Visa companies will do fuck all and charge u like a wounded bull . At the end of the day u are the one who has to get all of the documents, pics ect....they just give u a list of what to get.
Iam very lucky my mrs is switched on and had it in for the guy at the visa company that a friend recommended to me.....visa guy was Chinese and like most Thais she is racist and didn't want to give the Chinese guy a cent.....fuck him hunky he sneaky like a snake..I go make visa myself.....not trust fuckin Chinese man! True words spoken as we walked outa his office.
She proved herself and saved us about $5000 Aussie bucks.

Considering 80% is desert or near uninhabitable unless you like it really difficult. Yeah right. can't even have decent infrastructure with what we've got.

I am the OP. I have a US passport so I'm not from Australia or New Zealand. Just want to visit and see the sights with my GF. If I state that I will pay for all the tickets and hotels and other expenses will that be enough assurance to the immigration authorities so they would grant her a tourist visa?

start at the start, Does she have a passport, my girl has tried for 12 months but still no passport, using " accredited'' western agents,.
my take is if the girl is older , has kids maybe she can get a visa, a young childless girl has no chance
but i have known girls to get an immediate visa to go to aust with the customer the met in fields for a month, but usually they are older girls,
door girl Valhalla , 2 girls from voodoo. ask them if you are in ac

I helped her get a passport, it was pretty easy, cost about 2500, took about a month. I met her in a bar, but she had only been there a week. (I have reasons to believe this is the truth). I asked her if she wanted to travel, she said yes, so she quit and we traveled for 7 weeks around PI. After that she moved back to her family in Manila (and survived a 30 foot flood yesterday).

I assumed that as long as you were a New Zealand citizen and was willing to sponsor her for the time she would be spending in New Zealand then she would be fine okay for a tourist visa, but saying that most of my experience in that matter is from watching 'Passport Patrol' :ILoveU1:

its abit difficult if your not aussy or nz citizen but not impossible. If only tourist visa you dont need to prove your in a relationship at all.Thats only for fiance visa. All you need is an invitation letter by you.Put 80000p in her phil bank account, get bank balance statement, fukn take the money straight out again when you have bank statement, copy of your bank statement, doesnt have to be that much.I did my last phil tourist visa with $5000 dollars in it.This part is the most important!!! Go to barangay captain or similar business and pay them money to write your girl a letter saying she works there and earns bla bla bla amont of peso per mth and they are willing for her to have time off for a holiday and she has a job to go back to when she returns.fairly easy but might be alittle bit more involved if your not au or nz citizen but thats about how it works.Good luck

Depending on the circumstances, there is another way if you are prepared to put in the effort.
