@  Mizike : (23 April 2014 - 10:53 AM) @asianb: got caught in that trap too. there is the option to deselect on top of the page (sort of hidden). they are good about refunding you the money should you have booked your tix already.
@  mi tasol : (23 April 2014 - 10:00 AM) Lookout subic girls..will be there tomorrow night..woohoo..
@  asiansBtight : (23 April 2014 - 08:50 AM) 5 bucks is 5 bucks! ive always been able to unclick it before including 2 weeks ago.... butnot today, and ya the seat picking is just to the right in light gray hard to see but there
@  Biggles : (23 April 2014 - 08:26 AM) If u look where the seat number is given you, will see a non highlighted area on the right that says deselect seat.
@  fieldsguy : (23 April 2014 - 07:54 AM) I have been able to de-select the insurance option but not the seat option.
@  Educatedclown : (23 April 2014 - 07:51 AM) i always manage to unclick it ...so its not mandatory
@  MickeyAC : (23 April 2014 - 07:48 AM) For about 5 bucks I wouldn't worry too much
@  asiansBtight : (23 April 2014 - 07:02 AM) does cebu pacific force you to buy travel insurance now? if not how the F do you unclick it? it seems like its a mandatory 250 peso charge as i cant find anywhere how to get rid of this!
@  MickeyAC : (23 April 2014 - 06:35 AM) Most people don't know this out of Alaska but Caribou are actually the same thing as Reindeer. Without the red nose of course
@  Mentalist : (23 April 2014 - 06:31 AM) @MickeyAC yep things that cheap is word of mouth. no effort no reward. you're right I blindly trusted what Google returned without reading.
@  MickeyAC : (23 April 2014 - 06:29 AM) Seriously though Mentalist is on foot just by looking the best way? No listing book or posting board for ratholes like that? Gotta help a friend find on this week
@  MickeyAC : (23 April 2014 - 06:28 AM) Actually Caribou would die hear in a couple days. I hunted them with Philly in Alaska. You mean Carabao
@  MickeyAC : (23 April 2014 - 06:25 AM) Now you are talking about shawarma. Gyro is Greek meatloaf made with pressed beef and lamb, herbs and spices and starch pressed and formed then roasted
@  Mentalist : (23 April 2014 - 06:25 AM) @MickeyAC you search by using your feet
@  Mentalist : (23 April 2014 - 06:24 AM) @MickeyAC take that to mean caribou which is delicious
@  charliedk : (23 April 2014 - 06:23 AM) doesn't matter if beef or lamb..they will just scrap off the maggots before cooking and you won't know the difference..
@  MickeyAC : (23 April 2014 - 06:23 AM) I think Dau area or down Perimeter maybe by Friendship would be ok
@  MickeyAC : (23 April 2014 - 06:21 AM) How would you search for cheap bargirl housing. The ones that cost like 1500p for one room?
@  MickeyAC : (23 April 2014 - 06:06 AM) Yes we walked down there and asked the girl if it was real gyro made of lamb and she said no from beef. I may have to try it anyway but from what she said it was shawarma
@  Peterpeter : (23 April 2014 - 06:01 AM) Yup, called myrnaki.

Stayed at this motel for 6 hours [They have two rates: 239 php @ 3 hrs or 339 @ 3hrs]. Pretty nice ST motel, I think the one I stayed is 239 php for 3 hours, 339 php ones should be nicer (I was told by my date). . Only problem is that you need a date. They will NOT let you enter alone. So don't plan to stay here waiting for your flight, lol. You can order in room service (Jollibee quality), not too expensive. Also, in room massage is available for decent price. Has a tub (as you can see), wifi (need password) never got a chance to try as I was too busy with my date. Blankets are thin - Sogo Hotel style. Bed was nice though. Very roomy and clean. A good place to go as a backup for those emergencies (with the girls).

I think it is about 100 - 150 php taxi from Mango Bars. It is located on V Rama Ave. Most taxi driver knows it.

Me neither. But I assume due to their high demand (these ST are always full), they decide to cater to their main clienteles. I mean I would guess it cost more for 2 guests (water, electricity) than 1. But then, they must have thought of this long before hand.

I've been to both Queensland in Cebu city and the rooms I had were nasty as shit!! These photos must have been taken on opening day 10yrs ago!! My advice is to have the correct change in advance, because if you give the porter P500 pesos he will be back with your change in 10 to 20 mins!!! Also if you tell the porter to hail you a taxi, the drivers want a flat rate because they have to WAIT on street for customers!! I walked down the street and hailed my own taxi, they can kiss my ass! I go SOGO now!!

With all due respect those room at this particular V Rama is just as depicted on the OP post. I think you may be talking about the 2 Queensland on Mango or General Max near the pier which I agree is a piece of shit.

I actually stayed at one about 2 months ago and my friend stay there regularly because it is very nice clean and new.

The rate of 239 I believe is for 2 hours not 3 and it is for the 4th floor only. At least it was when I visited the place..

It is a nice good clean place to monger and yes it is very full all the time and I had to wait about 30 min with other couples..

Not the same location, Qld v Rama is one of the best, valley front ( just up the road ) has just rebuilt and is better but the rooms are smaller.

Cebu is a larger town than one short time hotel, Qld has many all over town as the op pointed out when you find a good one go back to it, and share with others on the board, as for taxi tell them you want metered or do what you did and walk out, some people want the taxi to come in and will pay.

The one on V Rama was nice for the 339 room, clean, nice shower, good water pressure, flat screen tv. Really bare bones but solid for short time stay.

I think I can answer that one now. Valleyfront is about 330 and you aren't charged more for 3. It's not very nice but not awful either.
