@  gopinay : (30 September 2014 - 03:24 PM) I guess that would be GT Garage (https://www.facebook...gtgarageangeles, https://www.facebook...garagecarrental). At AVIS I paid ~3800 PHP a day, GT Garage with maybe little bit less insurance 2000 PHP. Almost same type of car.
@  Spoiler : (30 September 2014 - 03:10 PM) Lazy... where? I'll try a different place as long as it is NOT VIP rental
@  Spoiler : (30 September 2014 - 02:36 PM) Philly is that VIP rental the one next to Avis?
@  PhillySteak : (30 September 2014 - 02:33 PM) You can rent a car at the little place by Beeway travel just past ABC hotel going toward Friendship for real cheap ask at Beeway Anna will help you
@  lazybugger : (30 September 2014 - 02:28 PM) @spoiler; I'm guessing it's because they have full cover insurance included, you can hire a small car in AC for half that price but probably only third party insurance
@  Spoiler : (30 September 2014 - 01:53 PM) I just got a quote from Avis for a 1 week car rental on the cheapest automatic they rent and they want over 22k peso. That works out to $73/day. WTF?!?!?
@  tequilareef : (30 September 2014 - 01:05 PM) or PM the guys who are in town same time as you, good luck
@  tequilareef : (30 September 2014 - 01:04 PM) Hey buddy add yourself here - http://www.philippin...roll-call-2014/
@  gdayruok : (30 September 2014 - 10:24 AM) in Ac right now,.. looking for a wingman
@  Moderator : (30 September 2014 - 07:17 AM) We consider the incident closed. Such matter are best discussed elsewhere
@  shogunspa : (30 September 2014 - 07:14 AM) total over reaction, my excess ads were already deleted, there were multiple threads for promoting business, I didn't think 1 post in each section would cause such an uproar
@  shogunspa : (30 September 2014 - 07:09 AM) That's why there are threads titled "the rest of the Philippines business promotion" there is noting wrong with business owners offering there services here
@  tequilareef : (30 September 2014 - 07:07 AM) No board in the World lets one member dominate in such a manner as you did. Not to mention you committed marketing suicide in many ways mostly SEO and spam as you have now blacklisted YOURSELF into something called Honeypot, a Worldwide database for any spammers of which this site is a member
@  shogunspa : (30 September 2014 - 07:07 AM) A lot of businesses advertise on this site, bars, restaurants, services, etc.
@  Manilaking : (30 September 2014 - 06:15 AM) You're gonna find yourself banned as the owner of this site is not going to like it. Find another site to promote your business.
@  shogunspa : (30 September 2014 - 06:08 AM) apologies to all!
@  shogunspa : (30 September 2014 - 06:05 AM) But I will try not to post many at one time, just trying to provide some information about our products
@  shogunspa : (30 September 2014 - 06:04 AM) As far as I knew it was fine to promote your business here
@  shogunspa : (30 September 2014 - 06:03 AM) thanks for the advice! I think I was just posting in the business threads, just trying to make a living here folks
@  Moderator : (30 September 2014 - 05:55 AM) @wheels10 removed. Talk about reverse marketing. Any good will that would have been received from anybody has been destroyed. That should be on the first page of "How not to market 101."

i think your budget is far too low for a hotel with a pool but i could be wrong.

try Mango hotel it is close to the action and has a roof top pool. Google them see what you get.

Have been to Cebu and I always hotel hop, stay at one for 3 or 4 nights, then move on to another. Its good to see different areas. If I like the hotel, I go back to it next trip, if I dont, then never to return. I always use trip advisor, it gives you all the facilities, location, price and reviews. Please remember, Mango is a hsort, cheap taxi ride from any hotel in Cebu City, u dont have to stay within walking distance of it. Also check past hotel reviews via this site, it has given me good info.
Im back in Cebu in May as well, you will love it

Except for the price, Mango Park Hotel is what you are seeking. The website says P1850 for the standard room. I checked Agoda and AsiaTravel. They are not much better. Agoda was P1826 in May and AsiaTravel was P1840 in May.

Metro Park has rooms as low as P800 and it has a swimming pool.

However, it is not next to any bikini bars but it is easy walking distance to Sunflower Disco, the discos at IT park and the casino at the Waterfront Hotel.

Otherwise, with no swimming pool, check these places in Cebu City, all P1000 or less per night. For some of them, you have to check the promo rate and compare on Agoda

Try the Hotel Pier Quatro...... 950p per night..... very cosy, quiet, friendly staff with security and gal friendly....japanese owned so I do not know how they retail to the westerners..... during my stay there the clientele were mostly asians...... although no swimming pool but it is located next to the pier (I have seen locals in the waters there)..... directly across the hotel is the Arena bar and some others within walking distance. :P

Hey guys

What do you think about Cebu R hotel http://www.ceburhotel.com/

anyone stayed there??

Since 1996, I have only stayed at the Cebu Century Hotel so can't help with what it is like to stay in the other hotels. However, I know the location.

It is easy walking distance to Mango Square where you will find several discos. It will be an easy walk to the bikini bars in that area such as Maverick (formerly the Silver Dollar). Many foreigners will catch a taxi but I personally would walk to the Mango Avenue bars from there.

If I was to stay in that same area, I believe I would stay at the Sampaguita Suites as it is much better located for everything.
